Basic business activity of the company is chopping, processing, packing and storing meat, and our stock – different kind of meat (beef, pork, veal, lamb) is obtained from Croatian and European Union market.
From a small warehouse on Savica Šanci in Zagreb, Rigeta Ltd. developed into a respectable company for chopping, processing, packing and storing meat with its own completely new equipped machinery.
Also, the company disposes with modern equipment for ensuring cooling regime in all facilities in which the meat is being manipulated as well as with modern vehicles equipped with cooling devices which enable us daily delivery of fresh meat and meat products all over Croatia.
The founding determinant of our business is production of high-quality product which meets health standards and demands of our buyers. Implemented HACCP system and certified IFS Food standard confirm our daily pursuit of supreme quality on higher level.
Except from the meat production itself, the company, as one of the founders of the biggest and oldest association of beef producers, has a developed domestic corporative network inside which we breed over 1.000 pieces of heifers which are fed with the finest fodder from our fields.
By using electrical energy produced from our own renewable sources located on over 550 m2 of surface of our plant and with systematic recycling policy we care for the world which surrounds us by reducing negative influence on the same, pointing to the importance of environment preservation as well as of the planet on which we live on.
The project of building and equipping the solar power plant is partly co-financed by the European Union.
